The “Heritage Hub” project is an initiative focused on developing cultural tourism and bringing the community and citizens closer to heritage and culture through the multifaceted engagement of young artists, innovative creators and facilitators. It aims to combine traditional knowledge with innovative creativity, creating laboratory experiments that develop new cultural formats in museum environments. The project aims to create a platform where young creators can meet different audiences, encouraging co-creation and reflection on cultural and artistic heritage.

The overall goal of the Heritage Hub is to transform traditional knowledge into experimental creative processes that influence the development of innovative cultural formats within museum and cultural spaces. This aims to increase citizen engagement with local archaeological heritage, museum artifacts and artistic styles, integrating creativity and innovation in the transformation of the city of Durrës into a cultural and interpretive ensemble. Through the creation of different experiences, individuals are involved in a laboratory process of co-creation and reflection, making heritage more accessible and alive.

The project has an innovative approach that relies on the involvement of dynamic young artists and new ideas, which bring transformation based on cultural heritage. Heritage Hub creates models of innovative practices that use art and creativity as educational and social tools, which are transferable to other cultural, museum, archaeological and urban environments. These models serve to promote well-being and social inclusion, as well as to advance the education and personal development of participating creators.

Heritage Hub identifies and promotes enthusiastic young people with an education in the field of art and creativity, actively integrating them into audiences and offering them development and recognition opportunities within the creative industry. The project contributes to the creation of a cultural and creative environment that is open, inclusive and dynamic, supporting sustainable cultural development and cooperation between artists, the community and cultural institutions.
